cacela-velha.com is an independent travel guide to Cacela Velha and the eastern Algarve (Portugal): where to stay, what to do, beaches, food and how to get there. It is available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and Italian.
How we work
Each article cites its sources, with the date they were checked, and says what could not be confirmed. Prices, opening hours and operating status change, so when there is no current source, the article says so.
Photographs come from free image banks such as Wikimedia Commons, with author and licence shown. Tide charts are astronomical forecasts and are indicative only.
