Santa Luzia and the coast
West of the centre is Santa Luzia, a former fishing village known for its octopus. It has a calmer, more local feel, with apartments and holiday homes a few minutes by car from the centre.
Best for: more relaxed stays, anyone who prefers a neighbourhood to a town centre.
Farms and countryside
Around Tavira there are many farms and country houses, ideal if you want space and silence and do not mind driving. Always check the listing for a pool and for the distance to the centre.
