Fábrica Beach or Cacela Velha beach?
They are two very close beaches, served by the same landing. According to the newspaper Público (2019), Praia da Fábrica is directly opposite the Sítio da Fábrica landing, and Cacela Velha beach is a little further left, at the foot of the village. In 2023 the municipality advised against using the area in front of Cacela Velha, which is not a bathing unit and has no permanent supervision, and named Praia da Fábrica and Manta Rota beach as alternatives. Getting there by boat

According to Público (2019), fares were €1 to Praia da Fábrica and €1.50 to Cacela Velha beach, per trip, running 9 am to 7 pm in September and 9:30 am to 6 pm in October.
