This is Manta Rota's festival, in late August. In 2025 it ran from 24 to 29 August, organised by the "A Manta" association, Vila Real de Santo António town hall, the Vila Nova de Cacela parish council and the parish of Nossa Senhora da Assunção. The high point was the Banho Santo on the beach on the 29th, with fireworks at midnight in Largo de São João da Degola (Postal, 19 August 2025).
